Cara began her oil and gas career in Southwestern Pennsylvania in 2010, leading a large-scale due diligence project that involved coordinating abstracts for hundreds of thousands of acres across multiple counties for acquisition by a publicly traded company. She subsequently drafted and certified title opinions for early Marcellus wells in the region, establishing herself as a trusted authority during the formation’s initial development phase.

As operations expanded into Ohio, Cara obtained her Ohio law license and certified title opinions for initial Utica shale wells. Over her career, she has provided title certification services to public and private operators, mineral funds, and independent investors throughout Appalachia.

Cara earned her JD from Duquesne University and is active in civic organizations in the Pittsburgh area, where she resides with her family.
